Twisted/bent CB350 frame

Hello!

Recently I've been working on my cb on and off and I've noticed something about the rear triangle/swing arm. Either the seat tubes of the frame or the pressed steel center tube are bent or twisted. I've attached some pictures.. maybe someone has had the same issue.

here the swing arm is at it's lowest with no shocks mounted.

it's touching on the left side.

This is the right side.. big gap.

Here is the swing arm at the highest point.

left side again touching.

right side big gap again.

The frame has a perfect title which is valuable to me and I'd hate to just scrap it. Any help is appreciated!

I have 3 350s at my office. I'll check them out. If yours is damaged I have two title-less frames I'll sell cheap if you want to figure a way to make that work ;)

I'm in Canada it would cost an arm and a leg to have it shipped!!

OP , depending on where you are in Canada, I think I saw a 350 frame on kijiji recently for sale. (Toronto)

Is there actual damage of some sort? Is it suppose to be equally spaced between those bars left and right. When it hits top and bottom at full swing has it passed the arc where it would stop if the shocks were mounted?

It's centered around the backbone. He just has the swingarm swung down well past the point the shocks would normally stop the arm...He is hitting the reinforcement panels on the frame.

CB350 frames are no perfectly symmetrical.

Still, the Backbone is the center and the swingarm is centered.

The swingarm would not touch anything if they were in their normal range of travel.
