TX500 build

check what? you left out the pictures!

edit: I just sent joe a text making sure he comes back and posts some pictures! I think Ive developed an update addiction just like troy..

edit2: aww what a tease, I mean Im glad its running smoother now, but I thought we were gonna see the tank and seat! Oh and if you havnet yet you should post up some pics of the temp gas tanks in the $50 mod thread.

Your "temp gas tank" idea is great! I was about to mangle a nice Nalgene bottle then I saw your water bottle version! Great Idea!

Ill do a write up when i get home... after Kempo last night i was just burned out... i fiddled in the garage for a bit then went to bed! My tat artist needed an arm rest built so i have been working on that... will be done tonight... that means... MORE FREE TAT WORK!

Nothing is free brother! I think you have some value on your labor! If not though, I would like to schedule a consultation for my new bike your gonna build, FREE!

Hey Joe.....did you post a vid of it running? Argh! I musta missed that....at least it doesn't show up here.

ha ha ha i feel ya on that one.

Sounds good Joe but I bet your neighbors are crabby! I'm stoked that you got'er running man...

Now i just have to make sure that the regulator is working... i think that is the last issue i have with the charging system... we will see!

SO SO SO close! just have to jet, sync, set points... and do the valves... ooh ya and also need to make a heel guard for the chain as well as a rear engine support bolt and then glue on the seat padding... but tomorrow I RIDE!!!!
i have to say the tins look sick! there is such a light pearl in the paint it is only noticable from certain angles... just rocks. The decals that GH industries made up for me are just amazing! by far BY FAR the best decals i have ever had the pleasure of using!
well HERE she is waiting... got the decals on, screens made and installed on the side covers, tank dash cut, shaved and on, gas cap on, fuel lines hooked up, seat on... hell alot more but i can not think of it all... too tired!

let me knwo what you think?! i think that the tank is missing somethign

wow, that paint looks smoooth. Worth the wait, eh?

I think the tank is good as is, but I also think throwing something on there could be good too.

SLICK WORK! I agree with Boom... Tanks needs something... Maybe you have the seat done with gold/orange baseball stitching and pull some of that color into some pin stripes on the tank and seat bump? Maybe a vintage decal? Some gold flake knee panels?

Nice! What about a tuning fork on the tank? Maybe in brass? Unless you want everyone to guess the make of the bike? I bet you can't wait to go for a rip.

Nice work

Really nice job Joe. Just awesome! I'm with the others on the tank needing a little touch of something. Other than that it is delicious. Maybe tank pads and a little decal in front of that. I'm sure your knees come up high enough to justify them and it would really fit the style. Kind of like what the brass does for the top of the tank. Cool of you to pay a little homage on the side covers.
Really nice build Brother!

Great work man, looks fucking sick! I do think the tank needs something, I like the idea of the tuning fork and knee pads!
