Well I have read through the top threads on Electrical systems which has shed some light for me, however, I am not an electrical engineer and new to these old bikes.. with that being said, I am hoping to upgrade the entire electrical system. Through my reading it appears that a Dyna pack system would be the best and replace the points all together.. are these difficult to install/any tuning involved? Looking for an easy upgrade as I have already completed a carb rebuild, new suspension, new chain and sprockets a full tune.. my next 2 steps are brakes all around and the electrical system.....

Without a model and year, it is difficult to say anything about your proposal.... Depending on the model and year, the dynapack may or may not even work...
