useless info

The 650's coming along like my typing... Painfully slow. I rode it every once in a while this past summer with the clubman bars on it just to make sure I liked it. Cut an old ratty tank up to make a seat hump with, and then... got the kids off to college, I have 2 at The Ohio State University. So money is tight, and work has ramped back up so I'm working 12 hr days again, blah, blah, blah. Started cleaning out the work room last week so i can start on the seat, then respoke my spare wheels. Will repaint the tins when the seats done. My goal is to have it road worthy again by April. Then next year attack the motor. I've got to remember to take pics of my progress as well.

Thanks for asking ;D I really like your TX500. My first street bike way back in 1980 was my brother in laws 1974 TX500 in that beautiful blueish purple with white trim. I was looking for one when I found my 650. Really liked the 500, 8 valve twin that really ripped. Had TT pipes on it, otherwise stock.

Matt
