Just spoke to Mike 1.877.251.4504, ext. 124 at Riders Plus. They insure bikes back to 1970. I got the best quote with them for my 72 CB350, $467/yr liability. No appraisal, safety or photos required. I'm going with them.

Will give them a call myself, but on a $/cc basis, that doesn't seem too much better than anything I've gotten through JR Duffy/Jevco/Whoever it is now. I'm paying mid $500's for my BMW 750, and mid $300's for the 2011 Suzuki TU250.

I managed to get ~$2,100 out of these guys with my little '78 Suzuki. They told me their danger meter went off the charts when I called. 8)

Wow, Liability only on my 91 CB750 and CB360 is $144 annually, for both bikes ($72/year each).

Progressive has been treating me right....

CA is expensive....

Happy to hear progressive in the mix as I'm currently with them. Looking forward to the bundle discount too!

Wow does bike insurance really get up that high? I'm running with AAA, and added a cb350 and a cb900 onto my current auto coverage. A little over $100 for the 350, and around $150 for the 900. Current 2002 civic was going around $550

Also added a plan that includes tows up to 100 miles. Used that twice already, basically makes up for half of what i pay on the bikes. And I think if you break down during a long distance trip, they'll reimburse you for a hotel, like $500, and get you a free rental for a day.

Sounds like a great deal. Just keep in mind some of you may be in more rural areas than some of us. Chicago insurance rates are pretty ridiculous. Just going outside the city saves you up to 20% or more

Try TD moloche Monex. if you have MSF or 3+ years riding they are cheap I pay 57 a month for 6 months (full year coverage) but only pay the months you can ride on my 79 GL1000. Liability only.

Just got off the phone with TD - they have a 30 year cutoff. You might have a grandfathered plan, so keep paying that $342 a year - it's a bargain for a 1000.

Canadian insurance is notoriously high, and Ontario happens to be the worst if I'm not mistaken.

Yep, not looking to switch anytime soon, This has me a bit concerned though as I am going to put the CX on my policy once complete and it is an 82. More than 30 years old. Let's hope they let me.

Motorcycle is one of the attractive and romantic cruisers best suited for those who would want to go for a long ride and discovery or the busy guy who want to enjoy the spirit of life each and every moment. Motor cycle is highly prone to accident and statistic showed that numbers of accidents caused by motor cycles is highest each year.
