Vintage picture.

My Unkle passed away in February in Holland. He was in his late 70s.
He used to ride motorcycles in his day.
To what extent I was never really sure, but we got this picture the other day of him racing in the Dutch TT.
His family blew up the picture and had it hanging at his wake.

He had visited us in Canada a few times.
On one occasion about 15 years ago he wanted to ride on the back of my KZ.
So I took him for a ride with me. Will not forget that day.

My father also rode bikes in his day.
I've asked him if he has any pictures, and will be looking through the old photo albums to try to find some.

That is a great picture man. I love the nostalgia that our families hold. There are so many beautiful micro-histories out there. It just blown me away.

Just found this picture of my Uncle Joop on my bike in 2005:
