VM Round slides on a 400cc bike

So here is my predicament.
I have these VM34's that Im itching to tune to my bike. They fit perfectly in the holders and i can make a throttle cable so heres my question:

Are VM34's simply to much carb for a 400cc stock bike? Or do i have a dragon waiting to be birthed in my shed?

Tuning help would be hugely appreciated. Thanks Everyone.

I know that 32-34mm VMs are the typical carbs for racing 350s (325cc) so the 34mm VM should be pretty close to right for a 400cc bike. If anything it may be small?

I STILL say that seems too big to me.
