Wanted: CB gas tank that will fit cb550 frame w/ knee dents

Willing to trade my original paint and finish flake blue '76 cb550F tank for one with knee dents, if the shipping isnt too bad and if your tank is leakfree (and as near dent free as possible).. Im really looking for a tank where I can add knee pads on the side and just think this tank would look stupid with them and I really dont trust myself to bang them out myself so yeah let me know what youve got and if you can help!

A couple of tanks that will fit pretty easily are the CB500T and CB750F models.

What Tim said. The cb500T tank has slight indents, and should fit onto a cb550 easily....They look so good I used one on my own bike! ;D haha

Yep go with the 500T tank... I did knee dents on my 550F tank... Well someone who I sent it out to did... They looked nice but ehhh... I went with the 500T... Looked great

I'll agree with the CB500T tank. Some people try to sell them for crazy money, but you can get 'em for $50 or so in workable condition. CB350F might work too, but not sure.
