Ive been working on my wiring lately so I've had the ignition on while testing lights and stuff w/o the bike running. I noticed my coils were starting to get warm. Last summer I changed my points to an electronic setup and the bike ran fine. Now this thing with my coils has me concerned I have wired up something incorrectly. With the key on I have 12V at the black/white wire at the coil, and the blue and yellow wires are shorted to ground. Does this sound normal?
