Its kinda hard to tell, but is that your front brake switch?..
Hose from your front Master Cylinder connects to the switch then a hose from the switch to the front brake caliper?
In anycase, I'd check that you have the right amp fuses in your fuse box and that the previous owner didnt just put in a bigger fuse to stop it from popping.
Ive seen popped fuses wrapped with cigarette paper, (to continue the current), causing bruned out wires, caused by major shorts..
