Re: ** WELCOME NEWBIES to DTT**
Thank You for the warm welcome. I live in Edmonton,AB. Have been riding since 13 , started with a prewar Famous Flying James and haven't looked back. My main ride at this point in time is a XV920RH with Hannigan Fairing and Krausser Bags. It appeals to me because I won't see myself coming down the street. I think that is one of the reasons people build Cafe racers. I have recently purchased two Hondas a 76 750f which had a disagreement with a guard rail and a 78 750k as a parts bike. But I have found that there is not a lot of interchangeability between the two bikes so EBay and I have been doing a brisk business. I have almost got the 76 complete and still have a complete 78 which with some helpful advice should make an excellent cafe racer. and so here I am hat in hand so to speak. I have just started to explore the DTT website and will be asking some hopefully intelligent questions and possibly able to contribute some information in return. I have owned a few British Italian and Japanese bikes over the years and may be of help to someone who has a problem with say a Royal Enfield Interceptor, or a Triumph Thunderbird, unfortunately all I have left are memories and a few photos . Again thank you and I look forward to a long and fruitful relationship.
