Well, I suppose it's time to start a build thread... v.CB200

That's a simple lathe job, any machine shop can do the job. Not to take anything away from PJ but to save time and shipping. There should be a machine shop every two blocks in Day-twa. Instead of hammering the bushings in you could put them in the freezer.. no wait put them outside it's colder for an hour then push them into place with a C-clamp.

I'm happy with the fit of the bushings in the actual swingarm. They are in and not budging (which is how it should be, right?)

My issue is the clearance between the flange of the bushing and the frame. I don't think taking off even 50% of the flange thickness would allow it to fit once the dustcaps are installed... beyond that, I'd be worried that the flange would be too thin and weak...

I meant to have the flange turned on the lathe so that it will allow the dust caps to fit, not the O.D. of the bush. Check the original bushings for a guide.

Finally found the drawings I gave Peter. Here's the before and after dimensions. Promise you, there's more than enough meat left. The second photo was designed right off of the stock plastic bushing. Everything went together like a dream afterwards. If you bought the same ones I did, you need to take .085" off...it's adding a total of .34" to your sandwich which is why you can't get your dust seals on. I was looking for an "after" photo but I can't find one after modification.
