Hey everyone, my names Bill and I found my way here from the UTMC site. I've got a 78 KZ650 with an 81 KZ750 engine in it that is making the transformation into a cafe style bike.

I'm about as far southwest as you can get in Canada without getting on a boat here in White Rock, B.C. I'm married, have a dog and am also into vintage VW's and 50's American Customs.

Not enough in my books.
Having one myself for over the last 20 years, I'm partial to them.

SHHHHH!!! You're making ME want a KZ now!! The only letters that are supposed to be in my alphabet are X and S.

Nice bike. My buddy has a KZ650SR for sale. I keep telling him to put new tires and insurance on and get it on the road so we can tour vintage style, but he figures it's not "reliable" enough. I just about smacked him right there. :mad: "YOU TAKE THAT BACK!!!"

Holy Crap,better tell my buddy with the 1981 KZ750 LTD with right at 50,000mi and still running strong that his bike is just not reliable enough! ::)
KZ fours are some of the most reliable air cooled motorcycles to come out of Japan and the term "Bullet Proof" is NOT an exaggeration.

Yeah, it's a good thing my buddy is selling it....... he doesn't deserve a machine that good if he thinks things like that. Only thing wrong with it is that it didn't come with a kicker from the factory. ??? Crazy SR version.

Guess I need my big zook sorted... school these young'uns.
 
Haven't been on here in a long time!
Been a few changes since I crashed my KZ back in August, the biggest being I'm newly single. I had to move and didn't have room for the Chrysler or the KZ so they both got sold. Couple of weeks ago I picked up a new toy!
