What are these Carbs From?

Any guesses what bike these are from? They are mikuni's, I acquired them in a deal, but the guy didn't know what they are from. He restored old Kawasaki's mostly, so that is my only lead.

There should be some numbers cast into the bodies...

could be KZ550?
but Like Yinzer said, number on the side of the carb will pinpoint

No numbers, the only other marking is "MIC" on each Carb on the opposite side of the Mikuni markings.

After some searching on KZrider I think they must be vm24ss carbs.

Looks like stock 24mm carbs from an early Kz650. They're the only ones I can think of with ribs on the carb bodies like that.

Pretty sure KZ650 would have an accelerator pump on #2. These don't. Did the LTD carb set differ?

My dad has a '78 Kz650C2 and they do not have an accelerator pump.

Gotcha. So this must be a later one. DOHC, maybe?

All Kz650's were DOHC. Try searching 1977-1979 Kz650B or Kz650C models.

After chatting with some guys over on the KZrider forum - I am pretty sure they are the 77-79 KZ650B carbs.

I have heard multiple sources that they will bolt up to the same boots etc as the original carbs?

As far as jetting - would the same jets work you think? I am guessing I will need to get different jets?

I should say that the current carbs have been jetted for the pods and pipe that are currently on the bike.

I am wanting to put them on a 78 GS550 with pods and a 4 to 1 Kerker.
