Barber is almost here! What bike/bikes are you riding/towing to Barber this year? For me its a toss up between my kz440 that I have been working on(hopefully its done by then) or my Ducati Sport 1000. Cant wait to get on the road next week! Everyone be safe!

The bike that DTT built.

Awesome. I'm back in! We will have to find a place for the electromagnet to attach since your tank and seat are fiberglass.

I'll be there.

Maybe a CB500 if I can get her rebuilt before next Wed.

I dig that 400 Sonicjk

Thanks Junior, still a ways to go but I'm a fan.
Before barber I have to repaint 2 side covers and powder a new valve cover to stop an oil leak.
Fun times.

The following will be coming along.

1981 HONDA CB985CR (Actually more like a 2013 since she is all brand new and finished)
2012 KAWASAKI CONCOURS

Jeez. Another thread that rips a piece of my heart out.

Thanks.

Thanks a lot. :'(

Drewski, Justin, and the others: you guys will be sorely missed. Won't be the same without yinz.

Flug - that bike is looking fantastic, sorry I'm not going to see it. Sonic, yours too. And Junior, if you've seen one CM400 you've seen 'em all. ;)

Brass caps ;)

So I gotta make fun of myself for a moment here.

As everybody was packing up from the Spring Thaw, CCRider walked up to me with a little baggie full of yellow valve stem caps, and asked if I'd like a pair. I had just put new caps on the Viragostrosity before making the trip down, so I said "No, thanks," and looked back to whatever I was doing. CCRider didn't look put out exactly, but surprised, and kept walking.

I saw a couple other people thank him excitedly as he walked around the parking lot, and walked back up to him to ask what it was I wasn't understanding, and he smiled, and said "They're solid brass caps. They're from airplanes."

So I'm an idiot and don't look a gift horse in the mouth, 'cause they aren't all as nice as Chris is.

Sorry I won't be down this time guys and I really look forward to the next one.

I appreciate the sentiment Big Rich. :)

Truth is, it's never the same, but it'll be great!! Enjoy it to the limit!! 8) 8) Can't wait to hear the stories!! ;D

Crossing my fingers that I will be riding this. My parts come in Friday. Valves reseated Monday. Rebuild by barbers. I don't want any more complications. If not I will be on a big heavy Harley and my wife on the scoot
