What bike is this tank off of?

I was helping a buddy move over the weekend and after loading up the truck he handed me this tank saying he didn't want it and that I should take it and use it on a build. I don't know what it's off of and not sure if I will eventually use it but it would be nice to know what bike it came from, if I decide to sell it down the road. Any ideas?

Looks like a generic Mustang tank. You could buy them from many companies and catalogs, either to replace the "Peanut tank" on a sportster or for custom builds...
