What does everyone do for their "real" job?

I'm a transportation mgr. For a plastics broker...I've also done this job for lumber companies and the auto parts industry, so about 30 years experience in a job I never really liked. Hmmmm I need to buy more lotto tickets.

Plastic Casting Technician. I pour stuff in a mould...it cures...then I do it again. Not very exciting but I'm involved in major changes towards optimizing the company and other processes. We are also getting into painting and chroming of patient education models and hope to break into the automotive industry doing headlight chrome and interior pieces.

I knew I knew you from somewhere.
Bear wrestling convention, you taught the advanced bear arm bar class.

Engineered stone castings...like bath tubs, showers, and counter tops. Feel like I have aged double in the last 5 years trying to keep it going in a failing construction industry. Things are looking up and it's nice to have a little cash for an escape hobby!

Well, my career path changed pretty drastically a month ago. :D

Mrs.Drewski and I own a little business in the Toronto area (Mississauga) doing emission testing for the Ontario Drive Clean program. We still have the business, but 5 weeks ago I became the full time Community Life Pastor at our church.

Yup. Did so.

We have a manager looking after the day-to-day tasks at Express Test and I still make sure the bills are paid and the payroll gets done. We'll probably sell somewhere down the road. 8)

Sunday being a "work day" makes getting away for weekend events a little tricky, but I'm gonna be at Mid-Ohio for sure.

Gotta say, 5 weeks in and I love it! 8)

I have the sweet gig of front counter/shipper/general odd job monkey at go fast powersports in Lee's Summit Missouri.. Im surrounded by motorcycle parts, accessories, and gear pretty much all day. While our shop can be hectic at times, I gotta sit back and say most days that it certainly doesn't suck to be where I'm at.

Ive owned a construction company (a Servpro franchise) for the last 8 yrs. Before that I taught high school lang. arts for 10.

Building, soldering, assembling, etc. of all the electronics for Boeing, Airbus and others... Engine and flight controls, black boxes, phones, fans, pretty much everything inside an air plane.

Pays nice, schedule's nice.. Best job I've ever had.. Helps me to afford my insane addiction to motorcycles.

I work for Sony. My title is "Project Facilitator and Black Belt". I use whatever statistical analysis tools are necessary to drive process improvements in a manufacturing environment.

Professional geek, essentially.

Damn I wish I had a fancy job. Used to but the pay was going down instead of up so I got out of it.

I was a " Leading Hand Conservation and Land Management Officer" for the local council but after they kept dropping the pay I decided to leave to study a Diploma in I.T.
After that fell through I ended up working at the local Milk Factory, great cash but a mind numbing job. Chasing an apprenticeship as a Fitter and Tuner now.

Technical title is "Process Worker" but at work it is "debagger"
