What is this?

At first I thought it was a steering damper, but it's only got about an inch of travel. Anyone have any ideas?

Looks like a rear brake master cylinder and rod that connects to the foot pedal.

Ahh, that makes a lot more sense. I googled the manufacturer and came up with a lot of brake parts.
I found it in my big box of random parts.

lol yeah. Sometimes parts bikes come with parts for other bikes. And sometimes I end up with them. I'd just hate to toss something that might be useful to someone.

Very true. But I really don't need it. It'll just go back in the box 'o parts until someone mentions needing a rear MC.
