what kind of lube to i use on my cam before reassembly ?

cool so just fill the oil pockets and squirt oil on the cam. what about the valves?

just kindof dip the valve stems into engine oil before putting it together... pour a quart of your engine oil across the cam before installing the cam cover, then use one less quart when you fill it at final assembly... get it?

You know i wish my owners manual would of explained this because i thrashed a head not knowing it being my first build, lucky i found one for $30 bucks. Good to know guys, By the way have either of you not run your tach cable to the speedo before?

I have always used this unless new cam came with some special lube. Oil works also its just a little more messy.

i just use motor oil. coat everything heavily.
