What kind of rear shock is this?

Does look like a moped or mini bike shock. Seems like it wouldnt be enough, But... I bet that bike weighs about 200lbs at most. Wonder if you could fit a stronger spring?

Its a mono shock for a 150cc scooter. Two would be plenty strong for a bike like that.

I was thinking go cart shocks, along the same lines as the mini bike shocks but alot more options in length and spring rates!!

My first thought was it was a golf cart shock.....? They also look similar to any small engine type go cart or scooter......

i'm thinking that none of us have a good answer. I mean as far as small shocks go there is good answers, but on this the spring is so short and the damper is really long it doesnt match anything suggested. I found this on a german site linking to a japanese show, I'm afraid I'll never figure it out!

I found the company that makes sells those a couple years ago when I was doing the swingarm bob. I read some reviews on them for bobber use and I remember they served their purpose. Many photos I found at the time they were used on smaller displacement bikes, and some if not most had very little clearance. That might hint towards their stiffness. I know I'm not much help but I'll try to find some information for you. Something tells me they are Japanese racing cart shocks, but I can't remember??
