What type of steel....

Coast to Coast
What type of steel are these old 70's Hondas made of? Is it chromoly or some type of mild cold rolled steel?

Thanks,
Troy

Sunken WWII battleships. Seriously, it's just mild steel, nothing special. Some of the frames were stamped steel and others were combinations of stamped and tubed steel. The Japanese makers were good at motors but were behind on chassis technology until the late 70s to early 80s.

Youre thinking of old honda cars... Rusted before they even come off the showroom floor.

Disclaimer: i only drive old hondas, other than my very first car which was a nissan sentra.
