I was talking to my Mom last week about me and my Brother riding our first bike, today she emailed me this photo of us riding it! In this photo I was 8 years old and my Brother was 3 years old.

This was my first (1947). As I remember it wasn't very fast but its handling was rock solid.

1984 Honda LX80,This is the bike I first learned how to ride on. It belonged to my bestfriend, who moved on to a 1988 CR80. So I was the instant underdog. I wish that bike could talk, oh the stories! I did have a minibike about the same time, but learning how to use a clutch was the best. Of course we broke off all the lights, and adding my bicycle number plate to made it look faster.

First bike was a black and chrome, ugh shudder, 2002 H-D Sporty 1200... But dammit I loved that thing when I had it. It was full throttle or off, those were the only 2 speeds I knew of. Sold it to pay for the wedding to the Mrs. Then I told her I was getting another one because the bike was here before she was.

1972 CB500.

The first bike that I actually owned outright. Right before I traded it. It was a stock (minus king and queen seat, apehangers and +6" forks) when I got it. Always wished Id kept it.

When I was a kid I had an early 70's Yamaha 70cc enduro. Not sure which model. I think it was a DT70. I've been having a lot of dreams about it lately for some weird reason. In every dream I'm zipping around on the bike having the time of my life. Must be the long winter, but seriously, it's been a couple nights per week for like months now. Makes me want to track another down.

Looked exactly like this. Same color and everything. This bike says its a 73 GT80, so that may have been it.

I got my first concussion on the little bastard too. 8)
I was jumping it, (showing off for some twin girls ;D ) and landed with the front wheel on a rock about half it's diameter. I went over the bars, and hit so hard it knocked off my PF Flyers.
Every concussion since I ask people, "Where are my shoes? Can you help me find my shoes?" :
