trying a new german lager called Classe Royale, not a very german name i guess but very pleasant beer, will have more tomorrow night

"Classe Royale" Is a dutch brew that should have been made in Holland. Just throwing that out there.

Fun Fact, Pilsners are most closely related to most American light Brews since that's what American beers take most of their ideas from.

If you like that style try Grolish or Heineken, both are Dutch.

If you want to try some good German Pills try some from Paulaner, Spaten, or Franziskaner. Saint Pauli Girls are in there too and I loves me some Pauli's

For me I'm gonna be working on my Oatmeal Stout tonight, man I know I didn't make enough but damn its hard to put down. Its like a chocolate oatmeal cookie Coffee that gets you drunk.

Mmm. Oatmeal Stout sounds good right about now.. Which one is that?

If you like Stouts, one of the best Chocolate Stouts I have had to date is the Samuel Smith's Chocolate Stout. Give it a shot.

Just picked up two bottles of Crown, two Crown Reserve, and one Crown XR.

It's Friendsgiving tonight. About 30 of us are heading to the cabin.

Titan, I home brew my stuff haven't bought beer in a bottle for at least 10 months now, that kit came from Northern Brewer I think, its been a month an a half since I bought it. I will check that style out though I love a good stout, I'm the only one around here that does. I'm working on that OBVIOUS problem though. ;D

For those of you that have the time and patience and the space, its worth it 100000000% to get into home brewing, I tell everyone I know that if you can boil water, read and follow a reciepe to a point you can make the best beer you have ever had. That and it costs like 25-50$ for 5 gallons of beer depending on style. I have a real taste for dark stuff, I just pulled a Moose Drool clone out of primary and put it in to secondary tonight, it tastes stupid good warm and green now. I can't wait for a few more weeks until its finished and aged.

Till then this Irish Red ale is working good to, hmm Stout and reds go well together. ;D Black and bloody anyone?

Lots and lots of coffee to get me through this upcoming 11pm-7am shift. Working retail on Black Friday sucks.

Not only on Black Friday. And that's why I don't work retail anymore ;)

Fair enough.. I don't mind it for the time being, but it's definitely not something I'm looking to continue after graduation, unless it means a position at corporate.

Back on topic: I'm in the mood for something lighter tonight, so Heineken it is.

Just to clarify, I wasn't trying to bash. Just personal experience ;)
I used to manage a local Circuit City about 15 years ago. Started with them driving the delivery truck. Did that so well they promoted me to management. I took a cut in pay to do so, with the promise that "I'd make more money (than before) once I got promoted to Store Manager. After two years of no holidays off, one weekend day off every other week, and "you'll be promoted soon", I went back to driving trucks.
I have a healthy respect for those who deal with "customers", as it's often a difficult job. The phrase "The Customer is Always Right" is a neat slogan. But, as I'm sure you know, is far from reality :D

Oh... and Jimmy B and myself are at it again tonight ;)

after a day out in the sun drinking beers and ciders, i'm afraid i'm on the plain mineral water tonight

Watching UK fumble around with Providence, so Jim Beam and vanilla ice cream again. I like this too much.

Lagunitas is good. Over the holiday I had Evan Williams premade whiskey eggnog. Not bad, not as good as the beam and cream.

Just had a Samuel Adams Gingerbread Stout last night. Not bad! :) Had a nice bite from the gingerbread.
