What's better than getting a twin- how about 2 twins at once?

Picked up a package deal today on a pair of twins. Went to actually buy the cb350 but he gave me a great deal to also take the cl360 as well. Not sure of what my plan is yet but I'm thinking I will leave the cb350 stock.

Its funny I made the EXACT same deal a few months ago. I think in my case the guy bought a parts 360 thinking it would fit a lot of 350 parts. Get a good price???

At the right price, if they both run, that's a great deal. I'd keep the CL stock and just enjoy it and sell the CB350. That assumes they both run and have titles of course.

I'm not big on stock bikes, but old bikes like those that are in such nice condition are nice to keep that way. A little touch of nostalgia in a fun package.

both bikes have titles.
The red 350 has 14,000 miles.
the orange CL360 has 8000 miles.

Both bikes were primary runners last summer for this guy and his girlfriend.
The carbs both need a rebuild, the orange one is burning through stators, and the red one needs a new starter motor.
Otherwise, they are both clean and supposedly work well. Tires on both bikes are new. Pipes on the red one are nearly perfect. The CL pipes have a hole underneath towards the back, but are otherwise nice. Only downside that I can see, is that the PO painted the front wheel, hub, and fork lowers black on the CL, which makes it tougher to restore in stock condition.
I do like the CL style, but the red one just looks cooler to me, which is why I might just keep that one stock and sell the CL once I get it running.

Total price- $1000 for both bikes. I think it was a steal, to be honest.

allright, I will let you know.
probably will take a look at them both this weekend and see if I can get one or both started.

I thought you were going to say "getting a four".

Nice bikes though, my personal biases aside. Watch that cam chain on the 360

Yes, when I purchased, I made sure to take a look at the vin plate. It was my understanding the dealers were supposed to make some little notches above and below the dash mark on the vin plate if a recall was done on the cam chain. I didn't see those marks, but who knows? I'll keep close tabs on cam.
I think the 350 had cam problems as well

I'm all for modifying bikes and making them your own, but that CL just looks so good the way it is. Congrats on the nice score.

$1000 for both of those is an awsome snag man, grats... what would you be selling the CL for when ur finished wrenching it?

Not sure. Might just keep both.
