Re: Ichiban Moto : Yamaha 500 cafe racer build

Kawasaki Hayabusa??? Thats a model i`ve missed! ;D
Whats next here,Jockeyshift to make it real safe an give it that final tuch on sporty handling??
And what a good choice of tools you are using!
You are going to get killed riding that bike Mr! ::)

Re: Ichiban Moto : Yamaha 500 cafe racer build

Can I buy that bad ass cafe racer when you complete it? I'm thinking...5k? Seems like a fair price for such a custom build!

Re: Ichiban Moto : Yamaha 500 cafe racer build

See the screw thru the right handgrip is no problem...the throttle is down on the right foot control. Had a plan all along. Also....don't worry about putting that long bolt back in....it's just an engine mount. You have like 5.

Relax Marc, we get it. Let people have some fun with this. Doesn't change the fact that Ich's videos are awesome.

You mean some of us get it. I am amazed there are some replies that don't. They are awesome videos and a pleasant break from the normal postings.
I may have missed the emoticons in that reply and I might be off base on my reply. ???

All for the show

Re: Ichiban Moto : Yamaha 500 cafe racer build

How many people have already envisioned the 'final' video for this series? I hope the author has something planned already.. I had such a chuckle with this one.. Next time I fire up my customized VStar I'll show you how welll a foot actuated throttle works on a bike.. ;)

Re: Ichiban Moto : Yamaha 500 cafe racer build

What is really scary are some of the other builds, where they do things like this seriously....

This build is just all sorts of awesome....

I especially like the hand drill (or should I say Brace and Bit ?)

I can't see the problem!

He used double green zip-ties, so it should be safe. I do wonder if he's going to bother with a rear brake at all. The front does most of the braking work so a back brake as well seems to be over-kill.

Crazy
