what's your four legged bike?

How do you guys feel about Nissan Hardbodies??

I'm goin to look at one tomorrow... Thinkin $2000 (asking $2400). It's a 97 with 133K, 2WD 4-Cyl... What I have read says they're rock solid reliable... and that the V6 doesn't have much more power than the 4-Cyl...

Here's the add:
Description:
1997 Nissan Pickup Truck, 133k km, 2 wheel drive, extended cab, 4 cylinder, automatic, a/c, p/b, p/s, c/w high rise cap and 3 studded tires.

I also read the the ABS is front only for 2wd... wierd... But it has Intermittent wipers! LoL

...Plus we all know the aftermarket for mini's is about 1/2 Nissan hardbody 1/2 S10... My first choice being S10, but $$$ talks.

I believe they have the same 2.4 litre that's in my '93 240sx (engine code ka24de). If so, they are very reliable, haven't had a problem with mine.

current daily driver a 99 black jeep cherokee 5 inch lift and on 32 inch tires (need to get pics)
pretty much all I mess with on 4 wheels are jeeps ,hondas and the occasional nissan
previous projects, all built by me unless stated otherwise

Screwed, do you think you have enough wheels???  ;D

Nice pignose, I have a '93. Must be nice with the rb in it. I stayed with the ka and stuck a turbo on it.

my 05 hemi ram. Nothing much, sucks gas like no other, which is why i bought the motorcycle.

I really should post pics of that too....

I'm also building a 73 vw beetle with a turbocharged subaru motor. Should be quick as all get out.

Well, I no longer have to worry about the rain. I broke down and got a cage. It's more of a grocery getter than anything, but it's still cool.

Here's my '63 ragtop. It has a ~190HP engine and a built 5-speed (full race 1-4). Stupid fast and surprises a lot of V8 guys and Ricers.

And this is my daily driver '70. It has a nice suspension under it for better handling and, for the time being, a stock drivetrain. I have a mild 2.1L already built and on the dyno and I'm awaiting a beefed up transaxle for it.
I also have "Smokie", a 1988 Mazda P/U that my uncle GAVE me. It has 246,000 miles on it! Perfect for hauling trash and commuting to work.

well i didnt own theese all at once. wish i did because i would be one rich bastard if i could . I get a project, play with it for awhile then i sell it or trade it for something else , lifes too short to have just one project.

oh and the 240 was very fun with the rb swap , it was very cheap and easy to do

Beautiful Beetles, scott... I'm jealous - mostly because I sold my near-stock '64 sunroof last july 'cause I needed the space for the bikes. Love those cars.

I tried to go over the Rockies in my 61' panel, but couldn't do it due to the lack of oxygen.

Rawfish... those are superclean!

The Singlecab is very much to my taste - imagine showing up at a trackday or show with your bike on the back of that!!

Here's a couple pics of my ex-'64 metal sunroof.

That's a clean 64'. 8) I thought of putting the bike in the back of the s.c.

Wow... that singlecab is sweet. Mexican blanket seat and all! 8)

I don't know how all you guys have VW's in such good shape. 'round here they're all rusted out (as is everything older then 10 years), still using salt on the roads here.

Round here in the big smoke they still use salt too, Ease. But my old '64 was an import from sunny California, and garaged in winter. Came across in '03 and made the trip under her own steam!!

I miss that car. But at least I have room for all the bikes now. ;D

dang those VeeDub's lookin fuggin saweet!!! thanks for whorin them out!

wouldn't mind a turbo diesel westy myself... ;D

My Six Four El Camino.
327, Muncie four speed, hurst equipment, not real fast but very fun.

Curt

Why are my pics always so huge? These shots are closeups by the way. But still very big.
