Wheel Bearings

Has anyone ever just cleaned their wheel bearings and reused them or is it necessary to replace them if you take them out?

usually the method required to get them out kinda ruins them. just buy new ones they are cheap. some bearings you can rebuild but don't rebuild the sealed kind. youll either not get them back together or have to replace them in a very shortly

bearings are too cheap to risk. Plus the new bearings will be sealed on both sides. Instead of open like alot of the older Japanease bikes.

So I took my front wheel off today and checked the bearings out their sealed so I think they've been replaced fairly recently so I will be postponing my wheel bearing purchases until a later date!
