where did you get your handle from?

Just my nickname... Got it because I hate making plans and always go with the flow... People said I was easy going, turned to easy, than just Ease.
I use it for everything.

Deacon is rackin up the points here.

I am an old goth so was always dressed in black. my name got shortened from Allison to Allie and i was always a bit tatty around the edges, so i got called a tatty old Allie kat (having been around the block a few times !!) i also played in band called the "Feral katz" so again Allie kat fitted, anothe friend was called "mog" (another name for a tame cat gone wild) and another was called "tigger" cos she bounced around the stage, so a bit of a cat sort of thing going on, it seems to have stuck :D

MAD MAX......in the early 80's, We all rode around like tha bikers from the movie....only I didn't act like an asshole...So My friends called Me Bronze...The nick name of the cops (bronze badge)

Kuyarico - you SHOULD have said it was because of Rico Suave!

Mine's pretty simple. Me and God have this running gag where we try to kill each other, like Kenny VS Spenny.

*and hey, backed on THX1138. Best thing Lucas ever did. How awesome was it when the "director's cut" had all those extra scenes, and how heartbreaking was it that he superimposed JarJar Binks monkeys over top of the actual film? I close my eyes at those parts.

I refuse to watch anything "special edition" or "director's cut" from Lucas. Han shot first, Luke was not a whiney bitch when falling down the shaft in Empire, and Jedi is NOT a musical!!!

Yeah, right! It's like, it WAS their movie. I guess I wasn't inside that guy's head at the time, but I really can't see that while making a total classic, proper and organic 70's sci-fi, that they secretly wanted shitty CG monkeys, just didn't have the technology yet? Man, I never watched anything after Return of the Jedi all the way through, it's messing with good childhood memories. I work in a really great video store, seeing "Director's Cut" of every movie ever made come to surface, I'm thinking, does this mean every movie ever made wasn't properly finished? With the exception of Blade Runner or Apocalypse Now, where there was actually alternate plot or significant stuff left out, it's usually an excuse to sell people the same thing they've bought 3 times over on different formats. THX had all kinds of good cutting room floor scenes, but I think Lukas does takes the excuse to use his own animation company to add things, to make a SHITLOAD more money from it. But it's so bad and out of place, it's like Shrek popping up in Clockwork Orange.

Holy shit, I can now say I had a conversation about Star Wars.
I also like boobs of all stripes, and badass motorcycles.

You guys and your 'rabbit trails' ALWAYS make me smile. Thanks. :-* ;D ;D ;D

My favorite movie is "Gone in 60 Seconds"...In college, I was into sport tuning cars. And I moved to Tennesse. When I would come home, my buddies started calling me Memphis...even though I went to college in Cleveland!! 8)

Greaser comes from the oil stains in my drive way from all the old junk I've owned over the years PLUS it is due to my theory and practice of PM oiling/greasing stuff, like chains, moving joints etc. Never see rust or seized pieces on anything I own or have wrenched on. You will also never see me wear out pieces prematurly. A little grease/oil will go a long way to maintaining a piece of machinery.

Ha, take a guess. ;D I've had variations of different stuff over the years, but found that this one was the easiest to remember. I also use it on all the other forums I'm on. As far as a nickname in life, there's been lots from lots of different people, but nothing has really stuck except for a good buddy of mine I call "Moron" and he calls me "Puts". 10 points to HerrDeacon if he gets what that's from! ;D

Joey Ramone's death was a traumatic event in this house, and my (then 4yr old) daughter picked up on conversations she overheard as his "brothers" also began to perish. She gave us all, my wife & her brothers, our "Ramones" names. Izzy Ramone, Jackie Ramone, etc... My real name's Grant, but my middle name is Jude, and she thought it hysterical to give me a girl's name.

Tried for L&O but settled for LANDO, Loud and Obnoxious.

Hmmmm....since we're sharing here. ;D Well, a friend wanted to shorten my name Tyron, but she always called me Tyrone (everyone has to put an 'e' on it).....so 'Ty' sucked and so she used 'Rone' (and no, it doesn't come from the Yamaha model 'R1' ie: 'ROne' as someone thought).

Not too exciting but it's easy to use. :p

the last two letters of my first name are the first two letters of my last name ;D
so Ezra Ranz became EzRanz... gotta love those zzzz's
