where do you buy your paint?

feeling underwhelmed enough to start ding my own painting, throwing away all rattlecans!
where do you guys buy your stuff?

I either buy from TCPGlobal.com or i will go local to to Terrace supply company they have everything and can color match on site

We have two local paint suppliers. They are a ppg and valspar dealer. That's all i use. I have ordered from tcp before though. Had good service from them.

You can't buy anything DIY in NYC, online it is.
Do you guys have an opinion in a good starter spray setup? I have access to a booth and a big compressor

have you tried tcps' hardware? their starter kit for around $100 seems like a good deal

Yeah, I'd like to know what's recommended too. For the meantime, I'm using a small HVLP touch up gun. It's a pretty generic gun sold in a lot of places (Harbor Freight, eBay, etc). But it works great for small parts. It seems you don't need a big gun for motorcycle parts.

So it might be more economical just to buy a touch up gun on it's own....gonna start with a frame and 450 sidecovers

Iwata makes a great starter gun set up for around $200. I still use mine religiously. Sata Jet and others do the same.
