Where in the UK are you ?

Hi BC,

Both the bikes are in bits at the mo but I've got a thread in the specials section for the GS.

The Tiger is waiting for a strip down and rebuild after I had a wee spill. I sold it last year to a chap but haven't see him since he left a deposit last spring. I've now decided to keep it but I'm not sure when I'll get round to sorting it.

I'm in Chatteris, Cambridgeshire. Got a thread just started in Big Arse Projects, "What have I started". I'm coverting an XV500 into a street tracker (hopefully).

My bikes, Triumph Speed Triple 1050 2010 model, Honda CRM250 91 model, Suzuki GSXR1000 K1 (track day bike), Yamaha DT125 LC Mk2 completely standard and the Yamaha XV500.

Well this was my first attempt to build something in UK while having a really crappy work at one car service. So it was done in very low budget. It took some time trying to find people who can sandblast, chrome, powdercoat and do some welding. Eventually I gave up and did everything my myself in the same warehouse after working hours. These models are really easy to modify. The result is not that good as I expected but its a good start!
Bike cost 120£ and parts a bit more ;) I just grabbed the first cheap bike on ebay auction.
If you look at the photos I think I did pretty good job! Now I want to pursuit new projects and trying to find good people around to help me a bit.

It not sand blasters and powder coaters you need. I'd of give the Forestry Commission a call.

Hello people ,
I've been on hear for a while but only just realised this bit was hear

I'm Wayne and I'm from Northampton , towcester

My build at the moment is a yamaha xs400

I work in a bodyshop in olney , family run, all paint work prep and fab , so I'm a dust monkey by trade

My build is in cafe projects under dust monkey xs400

Had bikes on an off for around ten years but now I'm going to the more classic side of things.

Happy building :)

Cheers Wayne ;)

Thank you mate :)

I have a build yes but I don't know how to copy it in to my sig lol

I'm no pc man at all

I have built a few cars over the time and a few track bikes , so now more to the custome stuff , I'm really enjoying it to :)

If I could find some I was thinking of putting some cut slicks on, b kinda cool :)

If u don't mind me asking , how do u put your build thread page at the bottom of your posts, I'm crap at inter web stuff :(

Lol I can just about manage a picture!!

Cheers Wayne

hey you turned avatar round, now my post is'nt funny or witty :(

To insert photo, quotes and build thread url. Go to the top menu click on profile then forum profile.

I did it like this:
signature box: put text in as normal then a line as a space
then insert picture using the using the insert image html. Which i cant write out in the message box as you cant see it. but if you are in the reply message box its the icon below the B for bold, insert your image url between the two groups of [] [].
Thats seems long winded and not very clear but I just spent 15 mins trying to find a way to make the text appear in the message without success.

In the website box I put: Build thread
In the website url box I put: the url of my build thread on here

Well that as clear as mud, hope it helps.
