Where to get Safety Cert. in west TO

ok, took it to cyclewerx. guy told me straight up that t would not pass as it has a small oil leak.

So now i need to track down a clutch lifting rod seal. any suggestions on where i can get one? anyone have a spare kicking around that they would sell to me?
 
Wouldnt pass cus of a small oil leak?!?!?!? Christ remind me to avoid cyclewerx if I ever move to Toronto. How the hell were brit bikes ever safetied if thats a fail?
 
What do you have? And no, just cus he told you about it before charging you doesnt make him absurdly anal retentive. If it was a safety issue sure, of course. But for an oil leak? Thats just silly.... unless it was pissing out.
 
Ride it to Rosey Toes, he won't care about the minor leak and it's $40 for the cert if you bring your bike. And he likes old bikes so you're golden.
 
Naw. There was a drop of oil under the bike on the pavement. There is actually a drain hole in the cover do even small amounts of oil drip out.
 
BTW that seal is: Part Number: 91203-292-005. You can order from Ready Honda in Mississauga.
 
Now that rosie toes seems like a decent shop! I cant believe he refused to safety you for a drop of oil on the pavement.
 
Hope you took it Rosie - Ted and his crew are amazing. He came by my place and safetied the bike.
 
Just so you guys all know, any auto mechanic can safety a bike, I always go to my car guy and he does them
