There's a place in Marietta that has a salvage yard and specializes in vintage bikes.

I have had great experiences at MSP in Decatur. Reasonable rates, quick work, and good communication. I love shooting the shit with the guys at AMR (Atl Motorcycle Repair) on Ponce but they are super busy and are more inclined with small CC scooter work from my experience. Where in Atl are you?
thanks alot for the recommendations guys. I will make sure to check out both places. I live in buckhead currently and have lived here for about 4 years. I'm about to move to roswell so I can try to tone the party scene. I was dead set on moving out to decatur square(downtown) but I got a offer on a 2 bedroom apartment in historical roswell that I could'nt refuse. It's 650$ with no pet deposit or rental deposit. My half sister live in the same place and its pretty nice.
I had my bike stolen in sandy springs and IMO every where around atlanta but buckhead, some parts of midtown, and decatur(30303) are places where POS hoodlums like to break in and steal peoples stuff.
Right now I'm just looking for a bike for around 1500$ so hopefully I can find something. It just seems that all the really good deals are around Chicago, cincinati, and wisconsin area.
