where's the gas coming from?

Hi. My 73CL350 has been away for the winter. My wife said the gargage smells like gas. I look at the scooter and there's a big puddle under it. My daughter (5) was sitting on it (stepping on it to sit on it) last night.

I checked the tank, no leaks visible (I had sealed last summer)
I checked all hoses going in/out of tank and carbs, nothing visible.

Anything else I should look at? Admittedly, i havn'et looked much as I'm working today.

If it's been sitting for a while and suddenly there's a puddle of gas under it, I'd check to see if the petcock is closed as someone may have fiddled with it

floats could be out of wack and stuck and your getting some overflow.

I"ll get a chance to play w/ over lunch. peacock was on run. i've never had it leak before when leaving in this condition.

If you're lucky it's just bowl overflows from leaky float valves.

The petcock should be in the "off" position if the bikes gonna sit. Most likely your floats were a bit sticky from sitting all winter, your daughter knocked it around a bit, gas started flowing, and you know the rest...
