who wants what? found this way out in the country

Well. I had heard stories of a guy around here who had a whole bunch of old bikes. So I decided that on my day off I was gonna find him american pickers style and just call and drive around. I found it and WOWO!! about 75% of it is 70's-80's honda and lots of yamaha stuff too. I Think he is pretty tough on his prices unless you buy in bulk.....so......

I thought we could get together on some of this

I already told him I wanted 2 650 motors and two extra camshafts as well. =850.00
I am picking up a 92 cbr 600 for 600.00

I am not a pro but I tried to remember as many details as possible so if any questions ask and I will try or will find out when I go back.

if you can find a cam you can bet on 200

The motor may be 200 bux somewhere but shipping or driving to get it is outrageous plus you havent touched it before you bought it. I think it is a smokin deal

That price seems way too steep - you could get one running bike for that or less, and part out the rest...

And...I HATE to see pics like these - where these bikes are all left out to weather and DIE, just rust buckets ready to scrap.
I do not understand why they cannot put these in a barn or shed or ,,,,for the love of bikes man!!

At least they housed some parts - shocks, tanks...Good find for those parts.

I keep getting that on both sites. I better just slow down and rethink things then. Just seems so hard to find good parts here in mississippi and shipping kills almost any deal for me. Back to hunting

offer him $200 for the 2 engines and tell him you're doing him a favour. As it is he's got a pile of scrap in his yard not making him any money. I just got back from my buddies place and he has a similar collection in 2 barns, he wouldnt ask that much for a whole bike. Just try and be prudent and dont get fucked over. And remember if you give him that kinda money its gonna drive up the prices for everything else, so the next guy will get slammed as well.
