Why we love cafe racers

I thought I'd start a new thread all about why we love cafe racers. I hope this isn't a duplicate of another thread, but if so, I guess there's nothing wrong with showing a little extra love for our bikes here as well. So to start things off...

1. You can't buy them brand new from a shop. It's not really a cafe racer until you make it one.

4. You never have to haul anything. And you couldn't even if you wanted to. It's just you and the bike.

And the only chicks you can pick up are the ones you want to pick up - the ones who have bikes

6. They're usually cheap (at least when you're starting the project)

7. By the time you are finished building your first... if it's broken.. you probably don't have to pay someone to fix it if and when it does break because you have new skills that you've learned along the way.
