Woodstock Illinois Swap Meet??

There is a swap meet this weekend at the McHenry County Fairgrounds, in Woodstock Illinois. Just wondering if anyone has ever
been to that. I am trying to figure out if it's worth driving my truck down there! :

I have been the past two years.. it varies. Last year a guy was trying to sell me 4 basket case CB500k4's for like 500 bucks with delivery.. the father in law stopped me from doing it for my own health. a bunch of the guys just back up their trucks and push whole engines off into the dirt/mud and then ask likr 600 a piece for them. its an odd place.

Seems like that's the way most swap meets are getting. A lot of overpriced junk laying in the mud.
The girlfriend and I are gonna check it out anyhow, due to lack of much else going on. I should probably
leave my truck at home. Too much junk already...

I've never been to a swap meet I liked.
Every one around here everyone just has a bunch of shit that they want to get rid of. If you don't want your shitty rusty stock parts what in gods name makes you think someone else wants to pay you for them?
I actually went to one the other day that had almost no bike parts. They just had shitty antique booths.

And the big ones like barber are just so overpriced I can buy stuff on eBay much cheaper.

Mid Ohio was the same last time I was there, used to be decent stuff for decent $$, there was a few good vendors with reasonable expectations of value but there was way too many asking crazy prices and got pissed if you offered what something was really worth or would have sold for just a few years ago. Although BradJ managed to somehow buy 4 tanks and I had them all tied to the GL to get them back to his van LOL
