What a lovely few days it's been. Being unemployed has it's advantages. 700kms since Saturday and there's still a couple of good days until the rains come and wash away the last of the salt and sand from the good twisty roads. Trust me; going sideways on Twiss Rd. is not that fun. I'm still trying to remove the seat from between my buttocks.

Granted I've been on the vstrom and not my old honda. I still have to rebuild the leaky #3 carb...that and I've gotten too fat over the winter to fit in to my leathers. But riding is still riding and I'm glad to be doing so early in March. Hope you all have had a chance to get out. Peace.

Yup, such a joy.

Changed the gass in the beast and BOOM, we were riding. Still needs a tune up, but damn fun to be out.!!!

I got out Sunday for my first ride.
Took it easy as I have new tires, and the roads are not the best yet.
I put a smaller 18" Z1R front wheel on over the Winter.
That and having new tires and sandy roads, I didn't push her too much.
Took some pix on the shore of Lake Simcoe with people Ice Fishing in the background.
Great to be riding again.
