Ah so i shouldnt weld at 200 amps. Got it.

I weld at 200 amps all the day and my gloves are just fine

I have to pull the torch out as far as i can, and feed the rod from a distance, tips of my tig gloves always gets roasted. If i have to weld big stuff all day i use thicker gloves of course, or wrap the glove tips with backing tape, hate tig welding with fat mag gloves!
