SONIC. said:Learned that lesson the other day, was wearing gloves on the drill press, and reached in to clean the bit off like I do with my bare fingers all the time. BAM it grabbed and ripped the glove right off my hand, I am incredibly lucky it ripped the glove off so fast and I was just left with a very sore finger, I easily could have lost a finger/hand, especially if it were a high power/high rpm lathe.

I'm gettin there, pretty sure they'll be available around the end of the month.VonYinzer said:ETA on tool rolls fella?
Beaner242 said:My dad worked at a printing co and they had a machine that mixed the ink. Similar to a big drill press. He was standing there when a guy was trying to clean some ink off the shaft while it was running. Needless to say he wasn't as lucky as you. Pulled a finger off along with about 3 feet of tendons vessels and whatever else runs up your arm.

So,you want extra long ties for Christmas? The Giant Robot Co. said:I work at a printing company. There are a lot of machines around here that could rip/pinch a lot of things off. The thing that always strikes me as odd about the history of printing was the dress of a pressman. Back in the day, as a lot of machinery jobs were, it was prestigious job. It was common for these guys to wear a tie and tuck in their pressmans apron. Seriously though, a tie?? Wearing a readymade noose while you stand over a press with dozens of rollers, cylinders and speed. I'm glad that is no longer a thing....

JohnGoFast said:Alright, here's the sample tool roll. Some small revisions will happen, but this is pretty much it. I'll list it on the website tonight. It's Olive and Brown waxed canvas with Brown straps.
I do plan to to make a cheap and simple tool roll also, just the basic single flap fold over...
Let me know how much you hate it.

Brown and Olive with Brown strap. Solid brass hardware. I'll likely add some copper rivets at stress points..Finnigan said:Is that blue and olive?
This...and I'm lovin' the marpat welders apron also.bud. said:That's the exact roll I've been looking for. How much are you letting them go for?
