Snowpocalypse 2011 (brought on by the superbowl) has pushed this back yet another week, so we're on for Feb 12th

Hey all Dallans I've got a 360 motor that could use some love and attention. Who's up for a little community wrench fest? We may get a ton done, we may just sit around and talk shop for a while, but everyone's welcome to stop by and throw their two cents around. I'm thinking next Saturday the 29th (correction: Saturday Feb 12th) from about 9 in the morn till whenever. Let me know what you're drinking and I'll pick up some beer or whatever. I'm in Little Elm (Frisco, north Dallas)

Call me old fashioned but I don't feel like throwing my address directly up on the open interwebs, but if you're interested in stopping by, I'll make sure you get it.

Cool, let's make this happen, still got that motor? Might be able to use it it you can bring it by. Hopefully we'll all be 360 experts by the end of the day.

Love to drop by gents but I'm a bit north, like 4 hours but drop silly questions I will watch the thread and help where I can. I have to hang somewhere and there be no major OK groups that speak. I have plenty of knowledge and my own 360 motor uis in a dozen pieces so I can verify stuff if need be.

Well, my boss just informed me that I will be working all next weekend. So, so much for my plans. Lets push it back a week to Saturday February fifth.

Anyone up for a Feb 5th wrench fest at my house?

Hows Texas...? I've been trying to convince my wife to move there for a while now with no success. I need some good material to sway her.

Things Texas has going for it:
Mild Winter (cept this week!)
Good business climate so lots of jobs (comparatively at this point)
Nice people
Dallas is a big market so we get a lot of things first

Things Texas doesn't have going for it:
It's flat and the landscape isn't too amazing
Things are spread out
HOT in the summer
Lots of Californians moving in ;)
 
Yeah, so much for the mild winters. Will be pushing the date back yet another week because tomorrow is supposed to potentially even worse.

So we're on for Feb 12th, crossing my fingers for sun and a sold Ranchero.

Cresent, you coming? I didn't realize you were in the area. I doubt the 400 motor will do any good, but I appreciate the offer.

I've got a van full of scrap metal destined for recycling, if it weren't for that I'd deliver her to your house, but as soon as I get a chance to get to the recyclers I'd be happy to bring her over... As long as you can have her back in time.
 
Well, I'd call the wrench party a success. We found the problem, tore the engine completely apart, put it almost all the way back together, BS'ed a lot, and drank some beer.

So, who's bike is up next?
 
I hear there's a guy down in Oak Cliff that's got a 360 in need of some buttoning up... If anyone's brave enough to go to Oak Cliff ;)
