WTB CB350/450 Push-Button Gas Cap Latch!

Now I know that these were recalled back in the late '70s in favour of the keyed latch, but I'm in the market for a push-button gas cap latch for a CB350/CB450 tank. The one that I got with the CB350 tank I bought has a crack in it, and I think the push-button latch will look better for my latest gas tank project rather than the keyed version.

I'm looking for either an NOS one, or a really good used one with excellent chrome. If anyone has one, I'd be interested.

You can get em on ebay but theyre $$$$$$. Also came on the 750's.

Best bet? Buy a crap old tank. I bought 2 and they both came with mint shape caps and push button locks, and they were cheaper than buying the latch seperately. This was of course after i stupidly paid 45 dollars for the locking latch for my tank :

Bob -- Thanks for the suggestion, and I had been doing just that (I didn't know about the 750's though!). However, today a fellow member of another Forum (Honda305.com) kindly offered me one that he had on an old 350 tank. It's pitted, so it's presently on the way to Ronnie Brown/Brown's Chroming, and for $20.00 I'll have a freshly chromed latch.

I do have access to one of the keyed latches, but I think the push-button will look so much better on my CB77/CB350 hybrid tank.
