I'm trying to identify from 300 miles away for a friend. It is supposed to be a gs 250, but I thought they were 2 cylinder? I don't know much about suzuki's any help?

I'm pretty sure a gt250 is a t stroke. That bike is a 4 stroke. GZ250????

It's definitely a GN.. but I'm leaning towards 400... I don't think the 250s ever had those sidecovers.. Are you sure it's a 250??

I think it is a 400 too. I think Me and a friend of mine are buying the cx and the 400. All original, titles no dents, ran when parked..... I'll let you know what I end up paying for them, but I'm thinking $400.00 for both....

Nice. One more thing.. (just an observation) The brake lever on the 400s is above the pipe, where as it pass UNDER the pipe on the 250s... That ain't no 250..

400 is a great fun motor, not so much in the 'customs' but DR/SP
Swap forks and modify frame a bit and it's a blast
I would have one in a heartbeat

I am thinking of a brat/tracker style. New forks for sure, big fat tires and lots of black bits. Won't know if I actually got if for a day or two. Am I the only one that has a build idea on his head for every pile of crap he sees on CL? Lol
