When I see photos of events like these (and I planned on making it) it makes me upset at my job position. I can't take a day off when I want. Next year is a must and on top of my list. I wanted to be there sooo bad. And the photos rubs it in sooo good. Arghhhh.
What part of WV was this at?
I'm in NC and I want to make the drive next year.

Man guys I was really bummed that I could not be there this year... It really broke my heart! At the same time I am so stoked that you all had a good time. Sometimes life happens and not as you planned, throws a kink in things, I was really bummed that I wasn't going to be making a huge cross country trip on a bike.
I think the biggest disappointment was not getting to see Troys face when his little gift the we pitched in for came rolling out. I sure hope someone got a picture. Troy has been a huge inspiration for me personally... his builds have been some of the first I ever really got into and followed. I just can't wait to see what he does with the 750! I promise I will be at the next one wherever that may be.

After reading the amazing accounts of the event, heartfelt honest renderings and seeing the incredible pics (MORE!) definitely count me in for the next one. I was out of town for the past 2 weeks, and there was no way I could make it, but I'll do my best next time around.
i just made it back to texas! i miss being there already. but now i'm getting back to work on the cb. i finally got the exhaust finished.. i think.. i may cut off that cone at the end because it was welded on pretty bad and still doesn't look very good after being ground down. i also made the tabs that hold the springs out of stainless wire. and drilled that hole in the mount. i guess they still need to be polished. i think that was all that needed to be done. my shocks came in the mail while i was in WV, wish they'd been here in time for the meet.
