Re: XS400 El' Pescado Loco Los Moto-chop....

but you i know me... short... i like everything slammed to the ground ha ha ha kind of cool that with 8 bolts you cna completely change the look, go to lower shocks, and drop bars... or flip it up and go with big shocks and tracker bars... love that

Re: XS400 El' Pescado Loco Los Moto-chop....

ya, this was the 1st time I've ever "Lifted" a bike, ha ha. It's pretty odd, but I'm loving the go anywhere/ride off a loading dock feel it has when you sit on it. Too fun.....

Re: XS400 El' Pescado Loco Los Moto-chop....

Glad to see you've got a better shot at stopping now, and I'm liking the stance of the bike.

Cool update.

Re: XS400 El' Pescado Loco Los Moto-chop....

Thanks Todd...

I plan on coming to visit you real soon on the new 750. Portland bound sucka!

Re: XS400 El' Pescado Loco Los Moto-chop....

Uh oh... Do you have a National Guard base nearby Indie? Call them before if so...

Re: XS400 El' Pescado Loco Los Moto-chop....

Diggin' those coil covers, man! They look like little machine guns.

Re: XS400 El' Pescado Loco Los Moto-chop....

I want to go riding when you get here, so wait until I pick up the pieces and put her back together.

Yinzer, problem is the reputation. I called the guard and they said I'm on my own.

Re: XS400 El' Pescado Loco Los Moto-chop....

Swaps, that bike is cooler than Jesus on a piece of toast.
I dig the old school scrambler look with the tall shocks and 21" up front.
What's the rear hub in those pics? Doesn't look standard to me....

Thats got to be the best compliment I've ever had! ha ha....

The rear wheel is 63' triumph TR6

Re: XS400 El' Pescado Loco Los Moto-chop....

Been staring at the pics trying to figure out what it is that really makes this work for me. I got my first dirtbike when I was 6, a bright shiny Yamaha GT80 that I rode every day (we lived in the country). My Dad was pretty big in the local dirtbike club scene and we used to ride with guys on old stripped down BSAs and Triumphs.
I think that's what your bike reminds me of...
Big Jim rode a big black Triumph something or other with opens, The 2 strokes were faster and lighter by then but there was just something amazing about the sound of that bike....

This would make sense. There are plenty of triumph bits on this bike. Rear wheel, rear fender, controls, pancake air filters, headlight etc. And then a few other parts that you would traditionally find on a britt custom. Like the sparto tail light and up swept cocktail shakers. Infact almost every part that I didn't make came off my 63' tr6.

Thanks again Mr.

Re: XS400 El' Pescado Loco Los Moto-chop....

Is that the Spanish form? Either way your still going to hell... sicko!

Re: XS400 El' Pescado Loco Los Moto-chop....

Maybe I should have paid more attention, but I thought jesus was toast. And also grape juice.

Re: XS400 El' Pescado Loco Los Moto-chop....

All hail the melba messiah.

Re: XS400 El' Pescado Loco Los Moto-chop....

Melba toast, all I ever got was stale oyster crackers...

*edit - In retrospect the dude did die 2000 years ago so stale crackers may have been intentionally symbolic.
