xs650 master cylinder replacement

I have a 1980 xs650 sg and want to know what I can use from a more modern bike.

I want to slim things down, the levers especially are super long. I guess I might be interested to know what levers I can swap, if thats a possibility. I havent looked into that so I am not sure if they are part of the unit or if they can be swapped out. I would guess you could swap them out in case of an accident you could just replace the lever instead of the whole unit... I am thinking out loud!

As long as the new MC is the same bore as the original MC, you can use any brand.

BUT, if you want an in-built reservior you'll want to go for something a little older than new gen sportsbike stuff.
