Hi everyone.
I am building a cafe/dirt tracker and am using a 140x90 16 rear tire. Unfortunately it is rubbing against the rear swing arm and there is only a couple of mm clearance with the drive shaft casing. I have read that it's not a huge problem if the rear wheel is off center so I was thinking of moving it over by putting a spacer up against the wheel under the spline-drive hub. In this way I could move the wheel over to the right by about 5mm. Has anybody else done this? Can anyone think of any negative impact? Or if anyone has a better suggestion I would be glad to hear it. My other option is to cut and move the left hand side of swing arm. I thought this would be more complicated and the tire would still be very close to the drive shaft casing.
