Gday im from Australia
This project is coming to a close now but i figured id put up all the photos i had as i havent posted here before.
This was my first low budjet, project and a confusing one at that. For the first 6 months of work i thought it was a DT 175 as advertised but as parts began not to fit i wizened up.

this was how i received it, running rough with no electrics wired

after some repainting, rust removal, paint stripper and some wetndry sanding this was where i was at

however although this had a nice tracker look to it, in the stripping of the tank i discovered more bad weld jobs and pin holes then you could throw gap filler at. so i went about sourcing a new tank and thought id chuck a different set of handle bars on there. and began stripping back all excess on the frame, starting with the use of a pod filter no an air box.
This is what i got

after this i began replacing the 6v electrical system with a 12v, this took some doing but gave me better output and i could use more effective slicker indicators

this was the original 6v wiring and battery box

this was the new set up (battery leads not yet screwed in)

after this i gauzed up the exhaust header, replaced the oil pump which was shot, gave it a top end rebuild and stripped/cleaned the carby

This is the product now 95% complete

Now my problem is somewhere between the exhaust going back on, and now, it lost spark at both plug and points, i replaced the condenser with no luck. any suggestions?
