Yay to fall riding...

You can always get it running with time or money.
No sweating, beautiful fall colors, nice cool fat air for the bike, it's a wonderful time of the year to ride!

It helps that my bike's actually running well now too...

totally agree. The fall colours up here in Southern Ontario are amazing and there are some fantastic roads to ride on.

I just got a set of '89 cbr600 rearsets in the mail today too - hopefully I can get those fitted before the snow starts to fly.

Hell, last year I rode in 50 degree weather on January 1st in Michigan, so here's hoping for another global warming winter!

Less bugs ftw!

lol, I just finished cleaning the last of the fish flies off my helmet today! I did notice how many rock scrapes were all over my helmet  Glad they weren't on my head...

thats funny, i was just thinking that with spring rocking along nicely there'd be some excellent riding weather coming soon, might just be time to chuck a mid week sickie and head up the hills for lunch one day this week, oh yeah i'm in australia
enjoy the encroaching winter guys LOL

Fall is the best season to me as well. Even though the world ends in December, we should all get our riding in now..hahaha

aaah yes the back roads here in NE Ohio are awsome this time of year!! CB650's are grumpy getting started in the cold but once awake love a hard fast run in the fat air like you say.

No kidding. I think when I finally got the bike started it was idling at 200 RPMs. I thought the starter button had stuck until I realized, yes it was (barely) running. I've tried many tricks to get the darn thing to start better cold, but not had much luck. Replacement Ninja or CB750 carbs may be in my future...

Keep talking like that and we'll stop exporting punk rock to you ;D

i dunno... I think oz punk has taught us a thing or two over the years :) but yeah, fall is the best time for riding. Only problem in my area is that it seems to rain every weekend now.

By "Fall", you mean "Fell"? We have two weeks of orange leaves up here and nothing...

Yes, that is the bell on the back.

Yes, Fall riding is awesome! I took three hour ride yesterday and it was beautiful in the Sierras! We've been having a heat wave out here all summer and I'm so happy Fall is finally here!

I have to agree that this is the best time of year for riding. I was on my bike for a total of about 2 hours yesterday. Just beware of we leaves around blind corners! Ive had a few scares, but luckily no crashes.

Fall is a great time to ride a 2 stroke, air cooled Triple! They LOVE the cooler weather!! 8)

the trick i use on my cb650 is put a small ceramic heater or my 500w work light under the engine about 1/2hr before i ride.....starts right up even on the coldest days. i ride to work 35 degrees and rising as long as the streets are plowed but when i come out to start it after 3 or 4hrs takes about 5 min. to get it started and another 5min warm up before riding.
