z650 Cafe Racer

That's a damn fine looking Kaw. Nice job. I'm noticing a lot of projects from DTT are starting to hit the streets. Hope to add mine to the list soon.

Yeah mate - its in Canberra Australia.

IN regards to the seat, the fibreglass cowl was purchased from a guy in Brisbane who sometimes puts his seats up on ebay. I had a look to get you a link but it doesnt look like he has any up atm. But they appear every now and then.

The fibreglass was cut down and bolted to a standard z650 seat base, then smoothed over with more fibreglass. Then painted and upholstered. the pics are on page 2 of this thread.

what master cylinder are you running with that dual disk setup? I need a new master cylinder for my 78 KZ650. Thanks
 
hey metal, great looking build. I really dig the instruments. just curious, are those 2.5" speedo/tach or the 1.9"?

i bought a reproduction MC from z1enterprises.com for about $250

I know that this is an old post, but where'd you find that cafe seat? I have a KZ650 and I am looking at building one from scratch. If I can find one that fits (like yours) I would rather buy it.
