    lady in black...

Hard to go wrong with either Triumph or Ducati, both make beautiful bikes. As far as the Ducati maintenance goes, just because you can make the payments on the bike doesn't mean you can afford it. The high initial buy-in added to the premium price of parts and service is what keeps them out of...

    Harley Cafe project is done

That is how a Harley should be done! I love it! I do think you should fab up a bracket to get that tach a little higher. Maybe mount it on a stalk like a mirror? ;D

    New carbs?

So after the carb clean and rebuild my '73 cb350 twin still runs terrible. Some of the carb internals are pretty beat up and I'm wondering at what point to cut my losses and 1. find a good pair of used carbs. 2. pay for a pro to handle mine or another pair. 3. buy the Mikuni setup. 4...

    paint help!!

I've used VHT vinyl dyes in the past with success. Prepping is the key to any dyeing or painting.

    V-8 Cafe bke

I saw a couple Boss Hosses at the Car Craft Summer Nats. a couple years back. All alloy 406 small block Chevy with 850 horsepower. They also had a 502/502 horse big block on one. The guys from Car Craft drove them around and crashed the burnout competition with them. Insane holeshots just...

    Possibly Another Project.. CB360T

I say go for it as well, but try to get it as cheap as possible. Here in Iowa there are plenty of old Hondas under $500, not so many with titles though and even fewer that run. All the ads tell you how easy it is to get a new title and how cheap it would be to get the bike running but if it...

    new ride in town

A little too futuristic looking for me. Those Morgans are more my preference. Interesting idea though.

colors that look good with a brown seat?

I,ve used VHT dye before on car vinyl car seats with good results. Cleaning and prepwork are the key.

colors that look good with a brown seat?

Stick with darker colors, british racing green or a darker maroon. Yellow might not be bad as long as its a really bright yellow. Could you dye the seat?

    float repair?

Well, I have a solution for my problem, what about Liam's dents? I wouldn't think dents would pose a problem unless they are quite large.

    float repair?

I was thinking about soldering it, I'll let ya know how that works out.

    float repair?

So I got my carb rebuild kit (still waiting on the replacement for the missing jet) and went out to start the rebuild process. When I removed the float I noticed that one side was full of gas. My question is can I repair the pinhole and if so, what do I use? I know that I am being cheap and...

    carb parts ?

I can't quite tell from the Clymer's diagram which jet it is and every parts place uses pretty much the same diagram. I may have to order all the jets just to be sure.

    carb parts ?

Okay, so I tore apart my carbs today to clean them and found out that the right is missing a part. It is a jet of some form, but what is it called and where do I get a new one? It's a '73 cb350 if that helps any. Be gentle, I know little about motorcycles and the Clymer manual seems to be...

    New to bikes.

I wouldn't call her a Mod, just appreciative of vintage styling. At least its a '68 instead of some new plastic space scooter and besides, if she hadn't bought the Vespa I wouldn't have bought the Honda. By the way, that's my daily driver '66 Chevelle in the background which returns 10 mpg...

    New to bikes.

Hello all. I'll just start out by saying I know next to nothing about bikes but bought one anyway. It's a '73 cb350 that isn't in too bad of shape but does need some work. For right now I'm just trying to get it running correctly but the cafe look will come eventually. I'm a car guy so...
